A B S T R C TPalm oil mill effluent (POME) is wastewater with high organic matter, the raw material of biogas production through anaerobic digestion. In digestion, washout effect frequently becomes a problem, along increasing loading rate (OLR) in continuous system. Therefore, addition immobilization media was carried out to reduce this risk. This study aims evaluate type and arrangement on performance thermophilic digestion POME. Two were evaluated,i.e., carbon fiber textile (CFT) natural zeolite particles. The process determined by measuring concentration volatile fatty acids (VFAs), soluble chemical oxygen demand (sCOD), methane (CH4) yield. indicated that led higher CH4 yields than reactor without media. yield 0.3487 L/g sCOD, 0.3050 sCOD CFT media, 0.2873 addition, only can maintain when temperature accidentally increased recovery period 14 days.Keywords: digestion; biogas; textile; zeolite; POME.ABSTRAKPalm merupakan limbah cair dengan kandungan organik yang tinggi sebagai bahan baku produksi melalui peruraian anaerob. Dalam anaerob, efek selalu menjadi masalah seiring meningkatnya pada sistem kontinu. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penambahan imobilisasi untuk mengurangi risiko tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh jenis dan pengaturan terhadap kinerja anaerob termofilik Dua diuji yaitu berupa partikel zeolit alam. Kinerja proses ditentukan mengukur konsentrasi asam lemak volatil (VFA), (sCOD) metana (CH4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reaktor menghasilkan lebih dibandingkan tanpa imobilisasi. Yield alam sebesar 0,3487 0,3050 0,2873 Selain hanya dapat mempertahankan performa saat mengalami gangguan peningkatan suhu secara tiba-tiba masa selama hari. Kata kunci: anaerobic; POME;
